At 11:44 p.m. on June 2, 2026, President Trump posted three images to Truth Social within a single minute. One showed him onstage before a crowd, captioned “The Greatest Attraction.” Another was a vintage photo of himself with the late singer Whitney Houston, posted, as The Independent put it, “for no clear reason.” The third showed Trump beside a mirrored surface that multiplied his reflection, captioned “Trump 007.” The Independent described it as an archive picture of a younger Trump; the Daily Beast called it apparently AI-generated.
The official White House account had posted its own 007 meme on May 16: an illustration of the president as a silhouetted Bond in a tuxedo with a silenced pistol, with “Make America Great Again” in gold lettering. It came as Amazon MGM Studios began auditions to find Daniel Craig's successor.
The Independent noted Trump's long history of flattering comparisons between himself and famous figures, from Elvis Presley, Winston Churchill and Mother Teresa to, most recently, Jesus Christ (see Trump Posts an AI-Generated Image of Himself as Jesus Christ Hours After Attacking the Pope. MTG: 'It's More Than Blasphemy. It's an Antichrist Spirit.', Trump Privately Tells Confidants He's 'the Most Powerful Person to Ever Live,' His Insiders Tell The Atlantic; Hours Later He Posts a 4 a.m. AI Image of Himself Holding a Rifle). The same day he also posted a meme likening Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico to Mad magazine's Alfred E. Neuman.
Correction (October 2, 2026): The entry described the “Trump 007” image flatly as an archival photo; outlets differ, with the Daily Beast calling it apparently AI-generated, and the text now says so. It also said Amazon MGM is owned by Jeff Bezos; Amazon MGM is an Amazon studio, and that description has been removed.
